    welding is always something that is needed to modify a car/truck. Its not gonna stop a 4x4 conversion, parts available and has been done couple times now.

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    First gen=best gen, always will be! Just make sure the frame is solid, and that goes for either vehicle.

    If the second gen was 07 or newer than I’d get that.

    I never heard any one saying they wish they did not have 4wd. But I always hear people say they wish they had 4wd.

    You’re asking in a 1st gen section so the opinions are going to be bias unless that’s what you want to hear.
