If you never worked manufacturing you will likely not know how hard quality control is. And its not every single one is defective. it could have been a dull tool on one machine in the plant for example. random inspection didnt catch it and there's no way to trace back individual installed master cylinders to that machine but they know when they were produced and when they were installed so to cover their ass they are recalling all of them.
be happy they are fixing it and not waiting until someone dies and the government twists their arm and forces a recall.

If you go by typical tin foil hat logic they don't want TSS, but put Alexa, Google Assistant in their house, use Facebook like crack and want a fridge with Bluetooth and a television, but that TSS boy that shit once broke on the way to applebee's because ice built up on the sensor.
