I love that truck. Are those 1.7 or 1.9 wheels? I’m still debating on buying a TF2 or build an scx10 chassis to do a mojave build.

Thanks, they’re 1.9. When the 4runner body finally comes out, I’ll probably put this Mojave body on my scx10 ii.

Well I figured it was time for another hobby. Been eyeing one for a while and finally ordered it earlier today.

Those are a little longer than the average crawler. Should be a fun rig though.

I’m thinking about getting the rest of the Knight Customs parts and opening the hood, but I’m not sure how to mount the body.

Could you use some rc4wd style post mounts down on the rocker above the sliders? Didn’t you have the wertymade SR5 bumper on it with the honcho body? Does that engine bay piece fit inside the mojave body? More questions than answers, sorry. Hahaha.

Haha! I could use the posts, but I think people are attaching the grill to the engine bay, and then the body to the grill.

I did have a wertymade on there but it turns out the marlin metal bumper that I have on the tf2 fits this aluminum mount that that got, so I’m going to get another marlin bumper. I like it a lot more than the werty.

I will check the engine bay fitment when I get a chance.

Did the chino mod and moved the smallest leafs. Finally a little flex...

Dang, leafs are scale but horrible flex. I thought about getting the tf2 and convert to links, but might as well just do an axial chassis, because I’m more concerned with flex than scale points. Well i was asking about the engine bay because I bought one to use on the honcho, but decided not to use it.

You can make leafs flex pretty decent. I pretzel’d my rear springs a bit today though, so it’s time for an anti wrap bar. I ordered a new leaf set too, I’m going to cut the eyes off these and try them as helpers.

Also the engine bay is not a direct fit to the Mojave, but I’m pretty sure could be trimmed to fit

    6s Lipo Crawler Update

It was perfectly fine with the HH 35T motor. Replaced it with a 7.5T brushless Reedy Sonic to “see what it could do” and the front diff did not last long. Hope the LHS stocks gears!

I too need to figure out the best way to mount this body. Did a quick paint scheme then roughed it up to hide my mistakes a bit and take the new shine off of it.

I'm very displeased with leaf sprung performance on my bruiser build but am torn going 4link as well I am building it for a more scale look

I found some 3d printed mojave body mounts for the SXC10 ii, by "Mod19RC" on shapeways, they replace the "side trays".

I know of them but I have an aftermarket chassis and they don't fit exactly. The lhs have a version for this chassis but it's out of stock

You could try magnets. There are small, very strong ones available at most hardware stores.
