everything looks good except...HID help

i ordered new 8k HIDs to swap out for my 6ks that are messed up. New brand so the wiring looks a little different. my dad and i are installing them tomorrow and i just wanted to make sure everything is correct so i've posted pics below of the set up on my bed. pretend the white box in the middle is my battery. all the wiring looks correct except there is nothing that plugs into the stock outlet thingy on my truck, not sure what it's called but it resembles an outlet. all help is much appreciated.

in the 3rd pick those 2 little single wires on the bulb are the only wires that aren't plugged into anything, so idk if that'll affect them workin.

If its a stock headlight your using. You have a plug thats brown you just put those into the slits and good to go pretty easy.

 

that brown plug you're talkin about does it resemble an outlet? i wouldnt think those 2 little slits go into that, kind of a weird unsecure connection

 

Yeah thats exactly what it is. I had to plug mine in there and also in my gfs car. Sometimes they come with another plug that looks like that brown one to plug it in and sometimes it just comes with those 2 wires that you just plug in. Make sure you plug them the in the right ones because there are 3 slits

That's how they are made. They made it that way to work on different vehicles instead of just making an H4 plug. Sometimes, the plug itself is inside the headlight and would not give you enough room to plug it in. So, the 2 small male spade plugs are preferred for tight spaces.

 

awesome bro thanks for the info. so glad i got them to work. first time i've actually installed somethin in my truck and it feels great
