I prefer fully rigid with a dropper. Started with Norco Bigfoot 6.3, than On One Fatty and now on Norco Sasquatch with Bluto fork. When I got my Sasquatch I was actually shopping for a rigid one, but found a deal I could not pass up. Since I only ride fat bikes in snow, I prefer a simpler, 1x drivetrain rigid bike. The less things that can go wrong the better. Make sure you get brakes and dropper that work in cold temps. Ones with good modulation would be preferred over maximum power imho.

How are you guys locking bikes when you throw them over the tail gate (with a tail gate pad of course...)? I haven't found any good cables I can get through the hoops near the cabin or the d rings in the back. Looking for some ideas here.. thank you!

Pack a stove? Neat item in my stove collection, clamp is too large for my handle bars. Pot supports not shown. One of two different stoves with different style clamps.

Good find! Nice truck too! I happened to be in Golden the week they released it so I got to test ride for a day on the HQ local trails. Really amazing bike. The GEO fit me great with long inseam/arms and short torso.

I sold one of the 27.5+ bikes which was a good reason to buy another. Always needed a winter bike so I snagged a frame for another build. But this box looks longer than other bike boxes...

Hey - my Ultragroove was just delivered. As I'm reading the instructions I'm stuck on something. The ultragroove comes with drain tubes for the box (drain out bottom of box) and the rails (drain tube attaches close to the tailgate on both side). I see drain holes in the bed near the cab but I don't see any drain holes near the tailgate.

Do you remember if you had this issue on your install? I'm wondering if the factory installed bad mat might be covering the rear drain holes, or if I'm going to have to drill them myself.

    Thanks

I had to enlarge the drain holes near the cab and drill new ones in the rear of the bed.

Thanks - any chance you could send me a pic showing where you drilled the rear drain holes?

Will have to do it in the morning. My phone is refusing to use the flash. I can also get pictures of what I did on the underside

Thanks man! I love the bike, the geo is sweet! I came from a V1 Bronson.. so 4 years of geo has come along way.. the steeper STA is awesome for climbing. And this thing just crushes as you know haha!

How tall are you what size did you find fit you best? I ended up going L @ 6'1". My Bronson was an XL but SC runs small (6'1" was the start of their XL).. I wasn't on the bubble this time (Yeti L is 5'11" to 6'3") like I was with SC so I went by Yeti's chart. I also have long inseam/arms and the bike feels super comfortable.

For anyone enlarging the drain holes near the cab, be careful with the one on the driver's side. The fuel fill line is about an inch directly below that, and is pretty to easy to puncture with a drill. Ask me how I know.

Just ordered a new bike today. Guerilla Gravity The Smash. I won't get it until mid/late January, but I'm off the bike until at least then anyway recovering from rotator cuff surgery.
