Morning all

I got in trouble with my boss for falling asleep at 1000 thusrday night. Seems I was on call and a call came in at 1030. Customer coverage ends at midnight.

Dispatch didn't call me but escalated the call to my boss and he emailed me at 0030.

We don't get paid for being on standby.

I slept well.

I want one though. Kids came down yesterday. Don’t feel like waking them up with grinder. Still got percolator. It just does better In espresso

I have never seen a standby policy document.
I doubt my boss has one

 

I’ve only got standby once. Your time out deducted from it. I always work on call.

 

Good morning folks. Got up with the wife this morning. She's working the morning shift today and I gotta go across town and find her a chair then back this way for some errands then swing by and show respect to the widow of one of my clients who passed this last week.

But first a couple cups of coffee.

 

Holy moly 20 minutes before bass pro opening and there is a line around the side of building! Me, nice and dry in Blue.

 

morning all!! Be out and about shortly. .. need to find gifts for the grandbabies. (And their parents )

 

On the rare occasions I do get to go to places like that, it amazes me there are sometimes lines. Unless there's a really exceptional sale, those stores stock huge inventories and the stores are massive enough to get lost in for hours.

We have a Sportsman's Warehouse, so not as cool as Bass Pro but still have ample stock on the shelves. I may have to swing through there today also just for giggles.

 

Good Morning Allheavy rain now and all last nite. boys headed for camp.think ill wait till early next week.we have grandbaby duty today. and here is a pic of Mic. my sons FIL. we went to school together. the beard is Real.he plays Santa for everyone he knows. we have an agreement not to rat each other to the kids the wild crap we use to do in highschool!!!

The kids and Grands all receive envelopes and Con knows what she is getting LONG before the 25th...


OK, onto other news.....did you kick A$$ in ping-pong and where are the pix...before and after of said "ugly sweater"
