Congrats on the Tundra! I have my Tacoma for almost a year now and been contemplating to get the Tundra for the longest time too...but for the full size truck!

Ha, same here man, used those in my miata. 2k pounds and stiff as hell. Was like driving a go kart. Ran a similar setup in my s2000, then ended up selling it when I bought my taco. My tacoma was like riding in a cloud compared to my cars

There's the problem. My dealership called wanting to upsell me to a 2018. I said hell yeah, find me an AC TRDOR with MT. Last I heard they are still looking.

Congrats! The Tundra is a sweet truck even if it is different than a Tacoma.

FWIW, I have a 2011 OR and I think it rides like a billy goat. Some of the streets in Tucson upset the suspension so much it feels like I have no control. So...I ordered an ICON suspension from @Wheelersoffroad on Black Friday. Can’t wait to get it installed. Hoping for a yuge change in ride quality.

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
I went from Small Toyota PU’s (before Tacoma’s) to Tundra’s — then back to Tacoma’s. Maybe a dozen Toyota trucks to now.
My last Tundra was a 2007 and I loved it for the power. It was just too big for my needs.
The Tacoma fits my lifestyle now more than a full size truck.
OP, good luck with your Tundra and enjoy it

That's my point, the Tacoma isn't stiff at all. If he wants plush, he shouldn't buy a truck. Maybe a soccer van.

I drove from California to Maryland in 3 days. I thought I was going to die. I'll also never do leather again as I had a 2012 STi Limited. Corner confidence though...bruh.

5100s all the way around would be under 1k. Doesnt hurt resale. Cheaper than the loss on trade. That and ovtune for 700 would have solved your issues.

So true. I had a 2004 STI and it was brutal in comparison. Miss that car every day though

Tacoma is not just sold to small-truck enthusiasts any more. 20,000 sales per month remember. Thus all the "I bought the wrong thing and it's the things fault not mine." threads...

I had a Tundra and hated it. It was huge, a 91 Fiero had better features, gas mileage suck, the ride felt like I was the captain of a super tanker, and the 18 wheeler inspired gear selector was ridiculous. For me the Tacoma was an upgrade.

What do you think you would get if you got rid of the tacoma?

*Crew max. That is referred to as the double cab model, they have more room than the Tacoma double cab does lol.

My dad just picked up a 18’ Limited Crew Max and you can have a damn party in the back, things huge. I’m 6’ 1” and can completely sit down with my feet out as far as they go and still have room with the front seats all the way back.

Searching tundra in 3rd gen forum only seems most who have traded are happier in the Tundra. Now to go read tundra forums and see how former Tacoma owners feel about their tundras?

My dad had that same wagoneer when I was a kid. Damn thing had power windows and power steering was good enough to drive with just a pinkie finger.

I would have the Jeep but pulling my CTS V Caddy with 150 shot nitrous!
