South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

What are you guys using to search local dealerships. Going through Google maps to each dealers website is getting annoying AF. Whoever designed these sites failed.

Car gurus and true car aren't matching the websites I've been looking at.

 

Just talked to sales staff it's still there. Having the manager call me. I'm gunna take up some of his time today with a buttload of questions lol

they’re opening brick and mortar stores out this way as well, one opened in Cary N.C. a few weeks ago, and there is one in Greensboro NC as well.

Last weekend was kinda spendy, and then doubled down and ordered more online a few days ago....

 

They like to play that game. Keep a hot vehicle on the website to get you in the door and then oh I sold it last night...

I called a Toyota dealership in Charleston a few years ago about a vehicle they had. I called maybe 20 minutes before they closed the night before and told then I'd be there first thing the next morning. They said ok, the vehicle is still here we'll get it ready for you. I get there, no vehicle... 1.5hr drive for nothing...

At least they were honest with you.

 

My rock hill friends, the fiancée and I are flirting with the possibility of moving up there. Found a nice apartment complex for $600 and there is a Harris teeter up there I could possibly transfer to. Any pros and cons of the area? How’s start taxes on cars?

 

York county car taxes are expensive.

I have to follow up and look- I think we just paid close to $400.00 for my 14 DCSB. In my area, that includes money for schools. Unknown if the same is true for Rock Hill.

 

Yea that sounds like a legit reason lol. Good thing she was honest. I woulda made them pay for gas and my time if they made me drive that for for a lie.

 

My vehicle taxes dropped significantly when I moved to Charleston County.

I’m originally from Rock Hill. It has definitely changed since I left. Are you talking about the Celanese Road area? My family still lives near the York County museum and I love the area. As far as taxes go, I can’t help you there.

 

Me too. I wish they had one in charlotte. I do get to greensboro once in a while, will stop in next time up there

I mixed up some salamidas, hot wing sauce and some worcestershire, dunked em all in that, then half got a bbq rub, and half got a chicken rub. basted a few times with some salamidas and wing sauce. Not sure how they will be, hoping they are tastey. Almost to 165 internal, getting hongry.
