I have had a small ant problem over the last year. I have tried everything I have had at my disposal, just short of makeing a home made "A bomb". Wasp/Hornet killer had the best affect, and with a 15' range, was pretty easy to enjoy a Cigar and lay waste to a few thousand ants. WELL, there are ALOT of these little F'ers in front of my house. Tigerfan00 sugested burning them with fire. I did better than that. I stacked some charcaol on top of their hole and lit it on fire. Let it burn. Didnt work. I had some other VERY helpfull ideas, and Im thinking they would have worked, but if Im putting this much time and effort into it, I want to be entertained. The other day, I went to my local KFC, and while my Wife was ordering some dinner, I helped myself to the KFC "Honey sauce". I took the whole box, and I learned its only 11% real honey, but whatever. Last night I strung honey along my side walk to 2 houses down, and poured the rest at the door step of that house. IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM! I came home from work today to find a nice organized line 3 houses long all the way to where I put the honey! SUCSESS! :D

P.S. is this a bad thing to do to a neighbor?

i have been in a death struggle with ants since we moved into the new house. they dont make it inside but the yard is absolutely COVERED in ants. every branch of every tree an bush has a line of tiny little bastards running around. if you walk under a tree and brush against a branch you have to go take a shower. it think its cause we have a lot of wooded area in the back yard and we hve a golf course on one side. i think all the ants at the golf course run to our yard since they constantly put insect killer on the course. they infested my truck so bad that i had some burger king fall over in teh floor board. i didnt even think about it since the burger was still wrapped. it was there for about 10 minutes and when i got home i grabbed it and the ants were already inside the wrapper and in the burger. i dont know what to do. i cant get rid of them. i'm just waiting for the cold to kill them off

    A few bolts are different.
Put quick crete concrete in the ant hole. I saw some guy doing it on the discovery channel. He was doing it to see how deep the ants dug down, sometimes about 10 ft, then he would dig it up to check out all the different chambers the ants had created. but you dont have to dig it up just leave it, those pesky bastards aren't gettin outa that!!

Speaking of ants... almost 9 months ago I bought my 2 year old a ant farm. I ordered 30 "worker" ants at that time, and paid the $4 for them.

JUST YESTERDAY I got a email letting me know that they had been shipped!! LOL Almost 10 MONTHS LATER!!

Should be fun, and shes going to love it.

THERE ARE NO AND HOLES!!! i have searched all over for these little bastards' home and i cant find it. im a grown man walking around our yard following lines of ants that look like a plate of spagetti. i just walk in circles until the lines lead off into the woods, which is impossible to follow cause they go off under the leave and brush. its too late this year but next year i'm callin the orkin man
