    Lemme explain further. When I had my center armrest/console out, that tray almost fell out. It slides in, I believe, from the front side of the console. Hope that helps. Console real easy to get out. Unthread the shifter knob. Pop the shifter surround off, it's just pressure clips. There's a couple bolts, 10mm or 12mm, inside the actual armrest thingy under the bottom felt liner. Grab that felt and just pull it up. I believe that's all to get the armrest out.

    I'm giving up on this damn CB antenna. I have a 3' FireStik mounted to a heavy spring and quick disconnect. Antenna is grounded to the chassis where the battery is. Antenna is mounted to hood hinge mount (Relentless Fabrication). Radio is mounted by my right leg along console. I can't get the SWR below 3.5 on channel 1 or 40 no matter how much I extend the tuning screw. I removed the heavy spring and that didn't make a difference. I really don't know what else to do except maybe relocate the antenna altogether. Any ideas anyone? This is so frustrating. I thought these antennas were supposed to be simple to tune.

    You might have a different problem. If you have an electrical tester please check the grounding with your hood closed between your antenna bracket and some other exposed metal or your truck. Also check for continuity on your antenna plug / adapter. Your antenna wire or about there might be shorting out





    Edit. When you troubleshoot for ground and continuity, unscrew your antena and antenna wire from the bracket /adapter
