Anybody had any front end clunking issues after a trip to uwharrie. Replaced my CV axles on both sides and shook down the front end. Ball joints AMD wheel bearings are all good no play. I do know the bushings for my sway bar links have been shot for a while but unsure if that's the noise. Only get it when turning, going over bumps or in reverse. And its sporadic, not happening every time. Have co sided yanking the away bar and seeing if it fixes it. Just hoping it's not going to need a new steering rack.

 

Could of be your brake pads shifting?

 

Maybe, I have no idea. I'm going to end up cutting the dust shields off, taking the sway bar off, and torque checking all the front end components and go from there.

 

Ear and sinus infection.

Just got done at urgent care..

 

Also look at all the bolts to your front diff mounting. It’s rare, but my rear mount’s nut fell off and it was contacting the oil pan.

 

Could be LCA Bushings

 

You checked the body mounts yet?

Sway bar removal time. The end links are a bitch. Debating on cutting them off

 

Dude it's just bolts. Grab the one end with a pair of vice grips.

 

The factory end links have a hex inside the bolt to hold them.

 

That'd be too logical.

 

Now to go to the mall to flex

 

I think my truck drove better without the sway bar. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised

 

I hope so. Do you really gain that much more flex up front?
