I recently got rid of my 2017 Acura MDX because the quality is just absolute garbage. The Pro is superior to that "luxury" car.

2019 RAV4. It's now built on the Camry undercarriage. I had a 2008 V6 and it was fun. My wife's 2014 is not bad at all with the 4 cyl.

You should consider the Optima.. 100k warranty and I just sold mine with 115k on it and I had zero problems. Cheaper price and still good cars.

    Just an idea

Tesla Model 3. 35k model with tax rebates and 0 cost of ownership. Cheaper than a new Tacoma if you calculate tax credits! Also 0 gas and good for the environment. If I didnt surf and need a truck, I would have gotten a model 3.

Good for the environment is debatable. A lot more goes into that argument than just burning gas in the car.

I'd personally go with the Camry. My wife and I after we ruled out an SUV were in a somewhat similar debate last year. Accord, Camry, Cruze, Corolla, Civic or Elantra.

Since were saving for a house we were looking new and lightly used of these models. My thing was I did NOT want a CVT, I don't like how they drive.

Accord- My wife said was the most boring car she ever drove or looked at and loathed it.
Civic- She didn't like the visibility in it she claimed and I didn't like the CVT.
Corolla- She thought was too small and had a "manly" design
Cruze- She loved, I thought it was cheap and I refused to buy it because you couldn't override/turn off the Stop/Start.
Camry- I loved and she strongly liked.. She didn't like the fact she'd be driving the same car a '17 SE as my 84 year old Grandmom but I tried every which way to persuade her. It looked like we were getting a Camry until she found the Elantra.

We ended up with the Elantra.

End of story is I wish we bought the Camry. If we did it over we would have bought the Camry. Anytime I have to drive the Elantra I tell her we should have bought the Camry (yes I'm that guy whenever I'm in that car!).

My friend, I have 22 Sonata "Hybrids" at my work that give me allllll types of problems! I disagree with you "in spades".

All 3 options are great, good luck Op.

Awesome color, the car is pretty cool too.

If anyone is shopping for a Camry, the new ES 350, looks pretty good and is available in F sport trim even though it's FWD.

You can single out any manufacturer for a defect in a model for arguments sake. My point was Honda's reliability has dropped to the point that Kia and Hyundai were catching up. That's what a lot of data shows. I know Hondas are reliable but last time I was looking they had terrible Auto Transmissions. I'm sure I would choose Honda over Kia or Hyundai if given the choice but wouldn't choose Honda over Toyota. I also wouldn't just pick any Toyota unless I knew it was reliable. Some are just more reliable than others. If your not doing model specific research and just picking on Brand alone you could get caught out. Tacoma's used to be at the top of Toyota's reliability charts. Now it's at the bottom. Damn 3rd gens. I'm sure they will improve right before the 4th gens though.

My other car is a 2016 CRV. It’s my wife’s daily driver and our family vacation vehicle and people mover. It drives nice. Have owned it since new. Zero problems.

Another one to look at while you are still looking. We bought my wife a Mazda CX-5 and it has been a great vehicle. No issues at all and very comfortable to be in for long drives. She gets 35 mpg in the city and a little better on the highway. And the little 4 cylinder is a peppy little sucker. We bought in 2013.

The new Camry looks great. My wife has a 2014 Camry SE Sport with 65,000 miles and zero issues. She also had a 2011 Kia Soul and it rolled 100,000 miles with zero issues. The Kia was a great car and had a ton of cargo room and you can still purchase one with the manual transmission, it also came from the factory with the entire undercarriage coated with a rhino liner type material which is important if you live in the salt belt. I would choose the Soul over the Camry just because of the cargo room. You can lay the rear seats flat and fit a 29er without removing the front wheel.

'13 Accord and '06 Accord owner. Both have been great cars. The '13 has 80k and the '06 has 156k. Had no problems with either. When we bought the '13, my wife thought the Camrys looked like ass, so she went with the Honda and loves it. Good luck, they are all good cars.

I love my Honda’s!!! They are all I owned in my adult life up till my Tacoma. I purchased all new. 01 Accord, 06 Pilot, 11 Pilot and 13 accord. I still have 06 Pilot with 275k and never had any issues. My 13 accord has 124k and no issues. I preferred the V6 due to my 01 being 4C and it just didn’t fill like it had any get up and go. Gas mileage has been great in all and never had any issues out of any of them but, I followed the book on all service. I have several friends who have Civics and they love them. Honda FTW (any of them) unless it’s a truck. LOL! The Ridgeline sucks! Saw they are bringing back the Passport soon and it looks pretty sharp.

Edit - I’m sure on here most will lean to Camry.

I have a ‘17 Rav, before that a ‘13 Rav, then a Corrolla. Love me Rav. The Corrola is small, IMO.

Throughout the years have had several civics. Never had any issues out of either makes. Of those choices I’d probably choose the Camry.

No my neighbors gets hauled away on a flatbed at least three times a year. I think this summer it ate an engine. I think she's starting to want her Camry back

Lol. Or she didn't know how to take care of it properly? Idk. Not every car any manufacturer makes will be perfect. Even Toyota makes lemons here and there.

All I know is mine got 40mpg hwy 32city. Never once broke down or stranded me anywhere. I drove it from new to 115k. No issues whatsoever. And for a lot less money than a comparable Camry.

Her's is one of the we forgot to clean the machining shavings out of the engine parts before we built it cars.

Shit I won't allow in my house: Samsung, LG, Kia, and Hyundai. The Koreans can't built a durable product that won't be a piece of shit inside four years. If you need parts, well fuck parts. they're pretty quick to make shit NLA. There's a reason why Doosan sticks Kubota engines in Bobcats, because if they designed the engine it wouldn't last a week.
