    Going to my shop to play around with new VIAIR 400P. Giving up on carrying (heavy) CO2 tanks/regulator/hose in favor of 1/4th the weight and less space occupied.

    Also waiting for Golf Pro (Butler Univ alum) to get here so I can harass him about Indiana basketball beating Butler on a last second shot last night (with .2 of a second on the clock)

    It's definitely a great morning!

    Took my Technicians class HAM test yesterday and.......

    No, I didn't just pass it, I FuckingCrushed It!

    I didn't know it at the time but apparently did very well beacause before telling me, they asked me if I wanted to take the Amateur Extra test.

    All said and done, 35 questions from a pool of over 400, with an allowance to miss 9. I took about 9 or 10 practice tests studying for a about 2 weeks, 1 week very seriously. A couple hours the night before, an hour here the morning of, then a half an hour there right before.

    I Memorized OHMs Law formula, Power in Watts formula. Memorized the common circuitcomponents of a transceiver.

    The test questions are at random. Mine were barely any of the ones on my practice tests. I only had one component question and one formula question. The rest were all theory and practice.

    I thought for sure I was going to psych myself out after the first couple of questions. I was shaking. I took my time moved on when I saw a unfamiliar question, then went back to it.

    I only guessed at three, two I'm sure my first instinct was right, but guessed wrong. The third I was completely unsure.

    So basically I only missed 3 total out of 35.

    I'm going to study more and get some hands on real world practice then go for my Amateur Extra!
