I am running the 1.05 91 FO test tune and there is a significant improvement over all other versions of the tune. I can't even imagine the improvements with completely re-written tables of the up coming release.

 

And this is evidence of what I was speaking of earlier - not all trucks run the same way on a given file. 1.05 91 FO test file was definitely not as powerful in the midrange as 1.04A 91 (on MY truck). FO was however, better in the low end. 1.05 91 MA file does much better in the midrange, most noticeably on the highway. Low end is not as good as FO.
Agreed though, the upcoming 1.05 version with re-written tables may be the game changer we've all been waiting for.

 

Exactly. The 1.05 tune we have is a significant improvement and we don’t even have a lot of the new additions / changes

 

Just remember that FO and MA were not really complete and fully polished 1.05 files for mass release, AND they are for TSB updtaed M/T trucks only (04B13 and 04A71). Personally I wouldn't bother updating your ECU and then flashing to either of them if you're happy with 1.04A 91. Just wait until the full 1.05 file for your ECU version comes out

Yeah I'm gonna be pissed after I update my old Tacoma and my Buddy starts telling me how much better it is...

I am so happy with the current tune and the more I read about what he was doing, the happier I am to wait for it to be done.

Honestly I’m not sure if I trust people with 6 posts saying they traded their Tacoma and need to sell their kit, there’s been a few in this thread
