My parents have an 18 Camry LE. Doesn’t have the Nav like my 17 OR. Dad doesn’t like the entune, but I can’t disagree there.
His is 8 speed with the adaptive cruise. He isn’t accustomed to the transmission yet, but I really don’t believe it is as bad as our Tacos,I would recommend a test drive (long) to make sure for you. It probably rides better than the Honda. The Honda may be tighter suspension and I would prefer the manual in a Honda.
In my experience you drive a Honda and ride in a Camry..

Well Itchy... did a Korean girl break your heart at some point?

You are awfully salty over my personal opinion being in favor of the kia. (The engines that had shavings and were included with the recall got brand new engines, and powertrain warranties were extended to 120k)

Im just giving my opinion based on my experience. OP can take it or leave it. Just offering up my opinion that is all.

    Cheers Itchy

Btw.. I dont think a Kia or Hyundai will fit through your door anyways... so I guess it isn't a big deal that you wont allow them in your house ;)

The OP is better off getting a Camry that some car geared towards people with sub 680 credit scores.

I recently rented an '18 Camry 4-cyl. It's a nice, but not-exciting car. If the commercials are to be believed, it's got features like auto-dimming highbeams, lane-departure warning and, IMO, the coolest feature in a long time, radar cruise control, that you have to pay extra for from Honda.

That said, I don't think you can go wrong with any of your choices. I do think you'll get a smoother ride in the Toyota.

I have nothing left to say here as I can see you aren't really replying with the intention of having an adult conversation...

They are just things bud, material things... no need to attack people because of the experiences they have had.

I hope you have a better day man. As I can see you aren't feeling too upbeat atm.

    Cheers

It's the truth, the only reason people wonder on to a Hyundai or Kia lot is when the Nissan or Dodge dealer couldn't put together a deal with a 680 credit score and a 1991 Lumina as a trade.

I cross shopped the Camry and the Ford Fusion in April after I totalled my X5. I ended up with the fusion. Feels much nicer on the interior.

I do want to add one thing simply because I dont want people to be misled in the event that they have a sub prime score and are in the market for a new vehicle.

I sold for Toyota for 4 yrs, 3 for Honda. & I was the F&I guy for Honda for 1 yr. I put together many deals for sub 600 scores on new Hondas. And I sold to sub prime credit customers at Toyota many times. Credit doesn't have anything to do with make or model when being approved for a loan. In fact in most cases its easier to get a deal bought on a new Toyota or Honda than a kia or Hyundai because the banks want to have a vehicle that will hold its value in the event of a repossession.

In all seriousness man I do hope you have a better day. Up till now I was under the impression that we were cool with eachother. All the dumpster fire fun and what not. And I don't want to make any enemies over a silly thing like this. You're a good dude and I wish you the best.

I have three Toyotas and a Honda in my household right now. Dad has been driving Accords for probay a decade now. I had a new Sonata, which I bailed on when it started developing problems I didn't feel it should have early on.

My response was driven more by the steering the OP away from his initial direction, which I felt was good.

I have no first-hand experience with Kia. My sister has 2 and likes hers despite an issue that would cause me to steer clear. A friend also had an issue with his. His next vehicle was a Lexus.

I do think there's good reason Hyundais and Kias cost less.

And I am completely willing to admit that my personal experience may have been a lucky build. Idk for sure because I haven't owned other kias or Hyundais. :notsure:

Id be hard pressed to believe that haha.

As long as debt to income is acceptable to the banks than 720 will get you a tier one lease, or lowest interest rate offered by the bank. Toyota financial ect.
