That's his race rig for KOH coming up. Pretty sure he made the bumper himself.

And an update on me. Went out to scratch my itch to drive the truck just now. Almost two weeks not driving it and I am forgetting how it handles. Drive great, I just wasn't as confident as I used to be. Also hit a tree root and knocked the damn alignment out, again. It may be time over winter break to learn how to do alignments at home and solid mount/ gusset the lowers.

I know exactly what you mean, I daily my truck a whole three miles to work during the week...but on the weekends we always roll in my girls stock Xterra. I always think something is loose on my front end when I first drive into the office.

ugh making a new carrier bearing crossmember to hold the "wookie" bearing/pillow block.....kinda sucks...overhead welding is something I truly do not enjoy lol

Overhead is the worst welding. Try not to set yourself on fire.

90% of the welding I do on my truck is on my back overhead.

I've gotten smarter about that, now that I have a better shop, but it's still too much.

Not when a bead rolls down your shirt  . No personal experience but some buddies in the Navy showed me some scars on their chest (no homo) from when a bead fell into their shirt and burned its way down their chest. Ouch.

    I do.

Bur it does mean you can adjust the height a little so it's not half way in between.

    A thing or two...
What pillow block is that? I've seen some other posts on the forum that mentioned using a pillow block for the center bearing but nothing that says what people have used. I've looked at specs for some, but all of the ones that I've looked at with the correct bearing ID had too low of an RPM limit.

    Yes
I have a used one with very low miles I can sell if you want to try it out but be aware that you must build a custom crossmember for it like @Basikbiker did for it to be positioned correctly. It makes your driveline feel so solid BUT it’s harsh for a daily driver because you no longer have any dampening in your driveline. I ended up doing a double Cardon one piece shaft.

I was gunna do the one piece but I'd have to redo my upper link and I really dont want to...its not bad on the vibe road noise if you rubber mount it like I did on the ends with bushings...I even drilled a couple holes in the rubber bushings to make em a lil squishier

Question! For glass bedsides, where are you all getting your fuel breather hoses? I know the 4runner filler hose works like magic, but I’m unsure what size/length/where to purchase the breather hoses

Thanks for the info. Any reason for running a 1.5" ID bearing vs a 30mm (1.181") ID bearing, like the stock bearing?

Thanks for the offer. I'm currently running the IEDL poly Ford Ranger bearing, so I'm good for now.
