I have an 05 Trd Pre runner. I'm looking at a new taco. Should I go Pro or a loaded Off Road?
The main advantage I see with the Pro is the Fox shocks...worth it?...not sure

Just get an offroad. Pro's not worth it if you plan to upgrade everything that makes it a pro anyway.

Buy a TRD Off Road and upgrade. Just my opinion. I don’t think the extra money is worth it unless you find a sweet deal on one. I’m just not paying the 8k “market adjustment” for one. Upgrading the suspension on a TRD OR will give you a better suspension than the Pro has anyhow.

On another note...I do love the extras on the Pro. Rigid fogs, nice leather, color choices. Etc.

All depends what you will be doin with the truck and what you like man.

Your choice, but I also agree that the Off-Road is the way to go. It allows you to spend the extra $ on exactly what you want for your truck.

    This

    Or this....

It really depends on how much you like the pro exclusive accessories. I'm not sure what the exact differences are, but you may regret not having those later. I'm more than happy with my OR, but I'm not anal about little details either.

I would recommend the OR and upgrade. You should be able to build a more capable truck for the same $$ as the pro.

... Of course there is also the 6ft bed thing. The pro was immediately eliminated from my list of options because a 6ft bed was a must for me.

I'm on my 2nd Off road. It's the best bang for your buck and the most sought after. Don't let those Sport guys lie too you.

In Canada the Pro is $10k more than an OR. That's a lot for suspension and leather seats!

My thought is get a pro if you can swing it and don't plan on modifying the suspension. If you get a pro and swap suspensions, you might as well save some dough and do the same to an OR. Otherwise you end up with a pro with an appearance package, ala Z71.

Fog lights and a shift knob do not make a pro.

Pro's will hold more resale value, than an O.R that has been modified.
