I replaced my whole rear differential. The spider gears came out the back and fubard it. So what i have that is good is the 3rd member clamshell thing (needs rebuilt) the axles themselves and all the hardware and stuff off the diff.

Yeah then the 8.4 is your friend if you are an open diff. Some guys have adapted the e-locker to the non e-locker rear but it looks like too much work to me.

My driveway, in association with my truck almost killed me today.

My driveway is 50% thicc ass mud. I jumped out of my truck and immediately slipped backwards and caught myself on the door.

Then when I went back out, I tried to step over the area I slipped on by using the stupid running board (I hate running boards) and I slipped on the running board and caught myself on the door again.

I can use the spindles (cores for welding gussets), bearings, sensors, and lcas (spares). And all the rear end stuff.

I can take it all, and either give it to other TW people or scrap it.

So there was a big rig stuck in a ditch on 28. I offered to at least try to pull him out, which the old taco did, but the whole time i was so worried about hearing crunchy rear noises again
