wife got me a creeper last year for xmas but I haven't ever used it...our driveway is too rough. I just roll around on the concrete, if I'm feeling fancy I'll put a moving blanket down

One of the best pieces of advice my dad gave me was to use a nice big piece of cardboard box, especially the really thick, heavy ones. There's a reason the homeless sleep in them.

 

I just use a big piece of cardboard. Lol. I've always wanted a creeper but my driveway is sloped. My fat ass would probably roll right down it on a creeper.

...on a related note, I feel dumb I never thought to use a piece of cardboard. Brilliant

 

I use a movers blanket on gravel and cardboard on concrete. Makes everything nicer

 

I use moving blankets too but they inevitably get soaked in oil/grease after a few uses, then my wife dry heaves when I go back into the house. But that might not have anything to do with the oil, I dunno

 

LOL can't believe I almost missed this post, that's sad and hilarious I'm sure there are a few reasons they pick cardboard lol

 

I haven't found anything to hate yet...I feel like I'm missing out

 

But they have hiem joints and are all aluminum. Even if you dont use them for qd still nicer then stock

 

5100 are terrible though you're right, RCD should have never adapted them to 1st gens since the valving is all wrong for a light truck and they're weak so they blow out seals easily too. I'll never stop fighting the good fight on KO2s, one day they'll stop making those recycled plastic shits though and I'll get a good night's sleep again.

ATs are kinda pointless but the DuraTrac is the best of the bunch as long as you don't kill the side wall.

 

If we ever get a chance I'll let you drive my truck on my Mickey Thompson's, also I'm running billies to there good for what I wanted. But I want something better. Nothing wrong with why I want to replace them cause I want to change enough for the upgrade.
