12Volt Solutions Remote Start Module

I had it in my vehicle for a bit, but came to want something with longer range as this one works based off of your Tacoma's standard key fob range. If you live in an apartment building and your car is parked nearby, or you live in a home and street park, this would be perfect.

I don't have the original packaging anymore, but that's not really essential. The module install instructions are available on the above-mentioned link in the form of an Installation Video, and Installation Guide. It took me about 30 minutes to install, and i'm barely competent mechanically.

I paid $250 for this, and am willing to sell it for $200 shipped to anywhere in the U.S.

 

Have you considered adding the long range or smart app module?

 

I just installed mine with the smart app module and it works great. The whole set up was a bit expensive but I’d guess it would be cheaper / easier than starting over. The smart app was $199.99 with a free year of cell subscription.

For anyone interested in buying this product, it was really simple to install.

 

I did, and loved the idea of having cell access to start - that being said, I prefer the "reliability" of not having to have cell service. Plus, I ended up getting a solid deal on remote starts for my wife and I from a brick and mortar radio/alarm business here in town. If I hadn't gotten that deal, I probably would've ended up with either the LR fobs or the smart app.
