Got my Icon 2.0 rear shock and height-adjustable front struts on the front. Soon I'll slap in the add-a-leafs. So happy to get these in after dancing all over the freeway with my blown miss-matched rear shocks!

Stuff on the roof covers me there. Seriously though, I didn't spend the big bucks on Dynamat, that's duct insulation from Home Depot.

Eh that depends I think on you're plans with the truck. I think they are worth it in lots of ways. But if comfort is #1 priority then oem is fine.

Sorry man but it's more of an age thing than miles thing at this point. The oem mounts are rubber. These trucks are old. They aren't what they used to be no matter what. If you have a truck with a 22re it's even older and more than likely cracked a good bit.

Yes they are. They replace the full mounting pltae. Well really they are gusseted oem ones. Probably for the more harcore guy. And by that I mean the person that realizes they drive so hard they need to gusseted or replace their motor perches. If that's not you the TG ones will do good.

I have the TG and 4xi mounts now but swapping to Bonzens.

Thats because the stock intake is a true CAI already

Solid mounting any motor and tranny isn't a good idea unless it's a drag car

 

There is a member on here who makes them for the v6, I forget his name. They are solid fabricated mounts with no type of bushing.

 

You mean the Bonzen mounts? They are not solid. Still poly.

 

I think he does mean the Bonzen ones. In his threads he calls them solid but like you said, they still have poly.

Yeah kind of misleading cause he calls them solid mounts but as BD said, you wouldn’t want completely solid mounts.

 

The “Solid Mount” name led me to believe they were indeed solid mounts without any type of isolator. That makes much more sense.

 

You haven't lived until you've driven something with solid mounts. My buddys Z has aluminum solid engine mounts and a steel trans mount. It is very harsh haha

 

Esb fabrication makes a whole bunch of mounts. Be careful with poly mounts. My trans didn’t last long once I firmed it up.
