Can you elaborate on what ways the ride was improved... and any shortcomings if there are any? I'm also starting to look at lift options, very much like you would like to keep the ride quality and not really any great deal of offroading going on... maybe just light stuff.

No, I was curious about the grill on the truck you have on your profile pic and when I clicked on it it said you were from down here.

Since this thread has been brought back to life, and is relevant to a question I have: I am about to install the trd pro suspension I got on closeout so I can get my Sway-A-Ways rebuilt. If my bumper, sliders, and skids sag out the trd pro coils, is a small spacer lift a going to hurt anything to level it back up? I am only planning on replacing the lift lost by the extra weight compressing the coils (maybe 1/4”-3/8” spacers) hoping to maintain the ~2” lift I’m currently running.

Isn’t the TRD pro suspension a coil over? Can’t you just add some preload?

They are basically the bilstein 6112, but without the rings to preload the springs. They only have two positions, one to preload the drivers side for the battery, gas tank and my fat ass.

I got bilstiens and OME 881s almost a year ago and even that rides like a dream compared to the spacers lol

Honestly go for the spacer lift. It’s not as bad as what these TW people say it is just don’t run it hard and you’ll be completely fine. And another pro is that it doesn’t settle your suspension so you can maintain a higher ride height without settling down.
