    That is probably true. I'm not all that familiar with the rules, that's just what he told me. He often has loads higher than the sides too. I saw an interesting for sale post last week on the local craigs list. To summarize.... F150 for sale, in bed dump box, upgraded suspension and rear axel all heavy duty. reason for selling.... cracked frame. I hate to echo but if you need a bigger platform truck you need one.

    I quite literally posted a video of my Tundra going down a narrow track trail along a cliff edge and going through a jungle on Guam. I would be fine in the east coast.

    Sounds like the solution is to have an airbag cradle bracket fabricated. Then you could just use your air bags. I'm guessing you didn't extend the piece that is supposed to go down and brace the bracket against the axle.

    I'm impressed that you're squatting with that beefy of a setup. The big difference is obviously that most of your weight is far behind the axle. Mine is all pretty much in/ over the bed - unless I'm towing.

    Dakars are not that beef, certainly strong enough for most - but they’re not remotely close to the end all pack for loads or heavy weights.

    Especially after a year or 3.

    It was on 40s I believe. Solid axles, dove tail bed, and a trailered trail rig.

    I’d like to see a tundra after a day at Rausch Creek...

    I do think you have a defective pack. You know how much weight I carry (~800 lbs), and the HD+AAL handle the weight really well. Wouldn't be a bad idea to contact ARB.

    Adding the extra leaf will help. With the extra leaf it can hold a ton of weight. My setup looked similar when I first installed. It did settle but it was still a bit high in the front. I have since added a ton of weight and the extra leaf and I have a rake most of the time. no swingout yet but shell, racks, 1/4 plate steel skids, sliders, front steel bumper etc. and it solid. I have the older dakar with extra leaf but would be similar to what you have now.

    The extra leafs are super cheap so give that a try for now. you def have enough weight that it won't hurt.

    I'm going to second the fact that there's too much lift on the front right now. Once you get the bumper/winch and it brings it back down, you really won't look like you are sagging all that much, if any.

    People might be getting sick of this picture, but here's my truck running the Deaver U402 Stage 3 expedition springs. Hard to see, but we prolly have nearly the same "Sag" in the back, which for me I consider about level. The Deavers are supposed to give 2.5-3 inches lift at 700+ pounds, What about the OME kit? is the 2.75 inches lift WITH 660lbs, or is it 2.75 empty?

    And just for reference, i've got around 720 lbs bed weight in the below pic, not including tongue weight, or Food, Bedding, helmets, tools, stove, propane campfire.... and i'm sure lots of various pots pans and other odds-and-ends.

    well just keep in mind that trip was during the early spring time before the brush really thickened up for the summer season...
    visit Rausch in the thick of the summer and the trails become a lot tighter than the winter
