You are/were prepared @ShemRahBuck , I'm glad you weren't out there when the crack heads did this. Did they tear up the interior or steering column?

Wow. Not one, but TWO theft deterrent devices!

You'd think they'd just look in the window and decide they didn't have a chance, but noooooooo... That would've required a couple working brain cells and thieves are generally not that bright.

Sucks that you have to use The Club to prevent your truck from getting stolen. When I was a kid we lived in a suspect part in Long Beach and my old man had one of these in his late 70’s early 80’s Toyota truck. Unfortunately the thieves were still able to steal it. We found it a few months later completely stripped.

Years ago, there was a radio ad for an aftermarket car alarm company (the kind that pages you, Viper I think it was) that asked "What did you do the last time you heard a car alarm going off? Nothing, right? Neither does anyone else, so what's the point?"

Aside from the broken window, everything is there and in great shape. I’m pretty excited honestly. I could be missing a truck today or, in classic New Orleans fashion, walked outside to see my truck had been sideswiped by a drunk. One window from now, it will be like nothing ever happened.
Know of any gps devices that I can put in my truck and track from an app, just in case she comes up missing next time?

I'm glad to see your preparedness pays off. Your insurance company should give you a deeper discount.

On Topic: I did piddly stuff - my carista critter came in, so I made a few changes to my dashboard settings.
    1. turned off the seatbelt chime!
    2. changed the lane change blinks to 6
    3. Changed the volume on a few other alerts

Then I added 12mm of washers under the rear of my driver's seat to see if I like the added height. So far, I do.

I'd like a rear view mirror mod, it creates a blind spot as it is. I ordered the aluminum seat spacers from @olecoot and really like the seat angle.

Some stuff n always adding more stuff . Ceramic window tint, Suntek film, weather tech floor mats, Bottle pro adapter, Schosche mag mount, AJT fob case, vinyl decal dash blackout kit, Meso overhead rack, red dome n map lights, gashole, turn signals, coin bin, dash blackout panel, rims blackout kit, door hinge covers, seat risers, bpf front grill, Hondo nobs, glovebox n console organizer.
I had this on my previous truck, I just haven't bumped it to the top of my list. It notifies you via text message your truck has been moved via satellite tracking. The company can give the gps coordinates to LE to track and recover:)

I thank Jesus that I don't live in such a place that thieves steal your truck among other things. No way would I live in such a place.
