I need to invest in another good bike....mine was stolen last year and I just bought the $200 29er from Wally World for the time being. Id like to get into it, im no pro by any means... only took my last bike 10-15 times.

The Palmetto trail runs from Walhalla to Awendaw and is about 500 miles of hiking/biking trails.

From what it looks like it is not 100% "Trail", some of it is connected by short sections of road.

 

Chestnut Mountain Road/Gorges State Park has primitive and semi civilized camping. Can get down on the water in a few places.

 

Idk. Filed a police report and had a cop come out and another claim. They may be held liable. But the owner acted like he didnt care so I took the next steps. He didnt apologize either. I fucking hate people even more now.

 

What a load of BS. They probably had you sign some fine print saying they're not responsible for your property. They are essentially supporting and enabling theft. Property owners are liable for someone that gets hurt on their property, I feel like the same should apply to damaged personal property stored at that location. That is just me though and unfortunately my opinion holds no value. I agree with you, I hate people more and more every day. BUT, a lot of times I am pleasantly surprised by genuine good people every day, so I try not to lump everyone together as "morons" until proven otherwise.

I never signed any paperwork with the tow company. They were just the ones that came and took in from the scene.

I'm not trying to lump everyone and I did paint a broad stroke with that statement, but just saying i dont trust anyone i dont know anymore is probably better lol. It's not like I did much already.

They probably have insurance just for that reason, so he probably DGAF. I would expect you to get some type of compensation, though.

Yea, hes still employed though. Still missing my dome light. Pod lights wires are fucked. Still pressing charges.

Some of the guys that were there said people jump the fence when they see stuff they like and kept stating the workers never take anything. Should have picked up on that. Regardless he did wrong and he picked the wrong truck to mess with. They provide a public service when it comes to accidents. I didnt choose them to come get my truck l.

 

Most storage facilities with have signs posted saying "Not responsible for lost or stolen items". I'm surprised the guy even looked at the camera footage knowing it was probably one of his employees.
