    Hi!
Been away from the computer for a while, it's nice to be back!
I'm looking for a front brake kit for my 3rd gen Taco to buy online and I'm confused. I see a whole range of options from 200$ to 600$. Anything I should look for? Anything I should avoid? I know you get what you pay for, but is it worth paying double or triple?
    Thanks!

Just standard pads and rotors front wheels. OEM are about 90$ ea discs and 115$ all pads (canadian $)
I'm wondering if there is any advantage paying more (performance, durability or anything really) or if it's all the same and I should be looking for the chaepest price I can find?

For straight replacement, I always find the OEM pads/rotors to be the best for durability and performance and worth the extra money over cheap aftermarket stuff. The OEM's that I've had (Toyota, Honda, and Subaru) all have been the quietest, dusted the least, and been the most durable.

Depends what you do with your car. I've got the SRT cherokee now and it NEEDS the big ass brembo's on it to slow it down.... because the thing hauls ass. For a Tacoma, unless you're hauling heavy ass crap or driving a buck 20 down the highway where you need to stop fast, I don't think a big break kit is necessary. If you slap on forced induction, then yea you need to stop the car better because of the speed. Just stay OEM imo.

OEM is probably best for the price.
