They have electronic versions in 3rd gens now apparently. Realistically this information doesn't do much for you though. I've been off camber many times in many sketch situations and it's something you get a feel for that a gauge won't be able to tell you that well. Still a cool as fuck mod though.

Tyler I’m curious how you mounted it. Wasn’t sure if you secured it with screws or 3M Tape?
I’ve got a Mitsubishi inclinometer I purchased on eBay a couple of years ago, but I never could decide or find a way to mount it. It’s now in my office because I think it’s the coolest thing.
The aftermarket inclinometers I’ve seen look cheap or have a Jeep logo on them.

Smitty sells a few for around $30. Jeep plastered on them all.

I *gasp* drilled into the dash.

Three holes. Two for the unit itself to physically mount, and one for the backlight wire.

Yeah — you could probably use double sided tape, however I wanted a permanent durable mount and something that wouldn’t move when off-road.

It doesn’t 100% fit perfectly due to the contour of the dash, but it’s pretty damn close.

My inclinometer was very useful when I went wheeling on Pismo Beach. It’s sometimes difficult to tell how angled or sloped you are on sand dunes.

    No it's not.

    "This is steep"

    "This is really steep"

    "This is fucking steep!"

    That tells you right there.

They’re pretty common so I’m not worried. I don’t plan on removing this thing anytime soon either.

That's mine :anonymous: I used to used it to get closer angles of the truck with the go pro since the old go pro's distortion made it much more difficult to get a close up shot from a safe distance.

Here is one with Inclinimeter, Voltmeter and Outside Temp from a Delica. I have been to Japan quite a few times and the Delica is one that comes in AWD and gets customized a lot, so I can see them having the inclinometer. Price seems reasonable.

I have not bought anything from this company. I just like to look at the various makers parts.

BTW, if somebody is wanting to search more for a used one, in addition to the Delica, the Mitsubishi Pajero also had them pretty regularly. I would try going to a website user group for Mitsubishi and trying to hook up with an Australian friend!

Ahh. The unit I bought in the Philippines wasn’t from a Montero, it was from a Mitsubishi Pajero. Forgot they’re called differently overseas.

Check out this little beauty. It also has a dash unit you might like. Not sure if it was factory, but it does have a truck image in the display. Pretty cool they have the roll and pitch separate. There is a closeup pic near the end of the set.

Even though it's not a Taco, I'd like to have it. Ultra low miles and already imported too!
