    Mine too, I buy them by the dozen at Fleet Farm in the milking section. Many times I don't reuse them just throw the whole thing out. Tried the ones with plastic pans and other brands but those cheap metal pan Victor ones are the best.

    All my traps growing up had a V in the center of the pan, Oneida Victor used to do that.

    Turned on the outside light this morning and opened the garage door to let the dog out and a field mouse ran from under the Ranger to under the trailer. Dog crawled under the trailer and the mouse popped out and so did the dog, he got it as it was running away. First one he has gone after in 4 years, finally. Must be all this talk of mice.

    Then around 6 was sitting in the living room looking at the smoke alarm up in the kitchen and thought I need to replace the batteries on New Years. 5 minutes later the damn thing chirped with low battery alarm. I'm going to try and not think of anything else the rest of the day LOL.

    no kids thankfully. she was married though. only in her late 20's...horrible situation regardless of age but gone way, way too soon.

    i don't think it had anything to do with the holidays...sounds like she had a lot of things going on in her life that none of us knew about. but you are right, this time of year can be tough on people. all the more reason to take the time to stop and check in with everyone you know and love.
