Ah yes, the super aggressive panhandlers. The Gas Can Man is a professional panhandler with his own Facebook page.

The VA did a study on the homeless veterans about a decade ago.

Those guys can clean house just standing there.

Or they spend it all on meth.

    All joking aside...
I've had to pull my pistol twice on aggressive pan handlers pounding on my truck or other cars at red lights.

A little something every chance we get.
@RobP62 - ask a Texan about Texas, and this is what you get!
@Biscuits - he lives there. He probably has an opinion.

Wow! Thanks! These are all excellent views of the place. Humidity and Mosquitoes would be the killer. We have both now. It's so bad at our place we can't even use the pool at night. The rest would likely not be a problem. Remember, we are Baltimore bred and even though we have a couple acres in the country now, we grew up there and currently work there. Any prospective city life choice would have to be no bugs. and include reserved parking. One thing that I would miss the most is my two car garage. I could never go back to shared on-street parking.

Guess I'll have to keep the dream alive for the dry side of the big island of Hawaii. LOL

Fire ants are your friends...if you wish to DIE PAINFULLY!!
I hate those fake veteran panhandlers. I've given instructions to two of them on how they can get in to the clinic and off the street, and both turned out to not be veterans.

It's not new york. We have garages and driveways. Where do you think we park our horses?

    Yup.
I know one "success story" about a veteran pan handler who went and got help. Turned his life around.

Can confirm. Our garages are measured in stalls, not cars.

Also as far as mosquitoes/ants go I treat my yard usually twice a year and then I don't have much of a problem with them. I saw a few small ant mounds starting to develop the other day after the rain we had so it's about that time again.

Well, keep in mind that Houston isn't Austin isn't SA isn't DFW, and on and on. If you can't find a place in Texas that suits your fancy, you haven't looked hard enough.

A friend from PA had the best outlook, Texas has every bug known to man but you don’t have to shovel snow.

I never messaged him since the post was down already. I guess I could just to verify. Unless @CedarPark already did?

Well, we have enough bugs here so I would like to move somewhere there aren't any. My buddy lives in NM at about 8k feet and says no bugs there. Now, there are scorpions, tarantulas and rattle snakes..........but no bugs. o_O

    Um...that's a Reaper. Where's it's controller? And missiles?

I'm assuming it's training at Ft. Hood, yes?
