I'm ordering my lift/wheels/tires today, could someone please double check my research?

    I have 2.5 lift in front. I have two sets of wheels. 285-70-17 on +10 offset. Only rub on mudflaps. I also have 285-75-16 on -10 offset. No rub at all. I have not done a CMC. The "0" offset you are planning should work fine.

    Who/where offers that much kit for $3500? Headstrong?

    I don't even see King listed as an option on their site.

    I disagree with this part, but everything else i agree... I wouldn’t avoid icon, as I’ve had a great experience with both performance and customer service. That being said, you can’t go wrong with king or ADS either (no experience with fox). I would recommend Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road as others have mentioned. She’s tip top and might even save you a few bucks putting your suspension package together. Whatever you choose, good luck!

    I got mine from Bajakits, you should be able to pick up a full set for under $2500, call them for deals

    I may not have my lift yet, (for my 3rd gen)but I've hung around on TW long enough to know that this is the truth.

    Don't fear the CMC, plenty have done it with no issues. I also happen to think the tall,skinnies are old school and cool. Ground clearance without rub. If you try hard enough you can convince yourself that you prefer either one.

    I will likely go with ADS or KING, they seem proven. There doesn't actually seem to be nearly as much info about baja kits, are they a newer company?

    And I think that I do need a uniball joint. The trails that I frequent have my truck reaching max travel quite a bit. Looking at different uniball joints, they all seem very similar but have a big range on price. I noticed that in topics on these forums where people ask which uniball joints are the best, each reply answers just with the uniball that they personally purchased. The sort of "I bought it and it works so its the best" answer. I don't see any comparison topics or anything outlining the difference. Will this be a "pay for what you get" situation where more money directly equates to better quality?

    Go with Cooper AT3 (3 variations to choose from). Made in USA, Great performance on/off road, snow, etc.

    I've converted my entire family and some friends who all have had Duratracs, KO's, Falken in the past and they like the AT3 better. Did I mention they are made in USA? :thumbsup:

    Full set meaning Front+rear w/ reservoirs + UCAs? :eek: I'll need the leaf pack as well. Bajakit's site is a little weird to navigate, it doesn't seem to list leafs or front shocks for the tacoma. Maybe they aren't in stock currently?

    It seems like it. I reach max travel often, and from what I understand, that is the benefit of having uniballs (in addition to having a longer lifespan).

    edit:
    The question for me personally right now is do i really need reservoirs? Also, thanks for all of your help Joe. You are in probably half of the topics that i've searched today as well, must be a big contributor to the community.

    SPC UCAs have just as much articulation as ball joints. They engineer their UCAs specifically for this which is why they are so popular. I run them with extended travel ADS and they are cherry
