Tuesday delivery date! Anyone have a good video for installing these without taking apart the bumper/grill. I remember seeing one on here but cant find it anymore.

Taking the grille assembly off takes less than 5 minutes and is the easiest way to access the fog assembly. It’s 2 screws and 2 plastic pins. This swap is a sub 10-15 min job.

Will they be available for a 2nd Gen, 05-11 Tacoma in Amber for fog lights in the near future? I see 5500k white as the only option on the website.

I think mine are coming today and I’ll do a side-by-side comparison to the amber KC G4 LEDs later on in the week.

Remember when installing these that they’re polarity sensitive. I had the normal XB fogs and they came with 2 wires from the fog light and a connector. The 2 wires have to be pushed into the connector, then the connector gets clipped on the trucks existing fog light connector. ENSURE to test the wiring connection before you attach the wires to the connector. I’ve read that once the wires are pushed into the connector, that they’re a bitch to get out if you happen to have them in backwards. Hopefully this makes the install go smoother for someone. Looking forward to some output pics.

Good call, and yes if you've never had to de-pin H11 connectors... keep it that way!

Received mine in the mail today and installed them on the truck. I switched from the oem fogs to the original XB's, and then to these, so I don't have all that much to compare to. Initial impressions are great, they seem brighter and seem to have a tighter beam than the other XB's. They seem to 'leak' less light if that makes sense, which is great for a fog. The first photograph I'm attaching gives a general sense of the original XB's and their overall 'shine' vs. the new Amber units which are much more concentrated. Like any projector based light, they have a definite cutoff, and so unless you are viewing from within the path of the light they do not appear very bright. Aiming will have a huge effect with these, though they do spread out nicely with distance. Hopefully these phone photos can give a good sense of how they look and generally perform, though I have yet to even use them in the dark. Overall, I am very happy with them and look forward to trying them out again later tonight. Headlights in photos shown are Morimoto Elite 35W HID's (5500K IIRC) for light output reference.
