Ya I looked at it while waiting on service today,it’s a CPO and ain’t cheap. I think if I was getting a pro or into another Tacoma I’d want a manual transmission.

Bilsteins 5100s on the top setting, 4runner Gray TRD Pro Sema wheels, 285/70/17 Toyo AT3s, Sumo Bump stops, TRD exhaust, ECGS Clamshell bushing, 1/4 shim for the lean and one inch rear block, OEM Pro grill and garnish OEM TRD Skid plate, TRD CAI, Demon Brackets, Rigid Industries Pro fog lights, OEM Trail Rails sidebars, Diode Dynamics LED SL1 high and low beam lights, OEM Roof racks, Clazzio leather heated seats, Remote Start, TRD Pro shift knob, tinted windows, Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp for the headunit and sub and amp combo, OEM Puddle lights, OEM tailgate lock, OEM bed mat, LED interior lights, OEM blackout kit for letters, JLT catch can, upgraded 27F toyota True Start battery, Vleds led tail light kit with Pro tail lights, OEM Rave4 side mirrors with convex spotters, just to name a few mods.
I wanted a dclb, 4 wheel drive, added my own leather kit, Bilstein lift 3/1 with a new 265/70/17 SL Toyo open country at2 on some trd pro Sema wheels, predator side steps and a factory TRD pro grill going on after ChristmasIMG_20181216_145744099.jpg and I'm done. I got my scoop, painted fender flares, long bed and can handle any speed bump any mall can throw at me. Sorry guys but crawl control is if no use here on the east coast and my truck might see a dirt road or a sandy beach in the OBX. Other than that it's washed and detailed every weekend and taken care of,yeah it's a truck but it still deserves to be taken care of for the next owner. Not hating on the Pro or OR but for a pretty trail ready factory rig the Pro is no better than an OR. Get what you want, I did and I'm happy.IMG_20181216_145744099.jpg

I could make a List of all the Items that are different than the Plain Jane OR but that is a Moot point and thing to do each to their own but two local new OR owners I know have spent almost as much as it would have costed to purchase a Pro going after the same Upgrades that the Pro Has and it is more than just a Or with a few more bolt on's

Got no Monthly Payments on it and interest rates.... Traded in a Paid for Tundra and used the money that I "paid" as payments into the Bank on the Paid off 2000 Tacoma also My Pro was Under MSRP from a excellent High volume dealer that I did my homework to find and work a deal with...MSRP was $41,720 and Deal closed at 2k under that. So I don't need that Imaginary High Horse with a ladder I jumped on just fine and rode off digging my Spurs in the entire way.....

Just FYI for everyone... The leather in the Pro is not holding up great.
I would rather have the leather in the 4runner.

I wouldnt consider blacked out lights or badges an upgrade.

What's so great about rigid fog lights over the regular TRD fogs?

Leather is now available in the OR, I personally hate stitched headrests.

Mandatory Scoop and moonroof are dealbreakers for me, they reduce visibility and headroom.

You're still stuck with a 5 foot bed.

I use a bed mounted toolbox for storage, try that with a 5 foot bed. I have and it makes the bed even more useless. I need the larger bed.

Only thing I care for on the Pro is the grill. My first two Toyota trucks said "Toyota" on the grill and I've always hated the sumbrero. I do like the Pro grill.

When I bought my OR it was the first year of the longbed OR and there was no 3rd gen Pro. After I saw how they limited the Pro configuration, color choice and initial market adjusted price the first year they came out, I was even happier with my choice in the OR.

Interest rate doesn’t scale with loan amount. Monthly payments for me is 0. Paid it off. I need a higher ladder.
