So i just purchased some Toyo open country R/T’s because i wasnt impressed with the KO2’s because they didn’t last very long and 95 percent of the time drive street and freeway so i thought i would give the Toyo’s a try. First impressions are that they are definitely louder on the roads then the Ko2’s. And unfortunately i had some what of a light panic stop and i felt the back end of the truck almost lock up i could hear the tires squeal. Mind you it wasn’t a super hard panic stop. But so far over all i still feel like the Toyo tires are going to be better over all then the KO2’s because mine didn’t last me 20 thousand miles and i and a few deep slits in them from i have no idea but i will Update this thread and tell you more about my experience with the Toyo R/Ts after i drive on them for a month or 2. Here’s a picture of the new Toyo’s

Here’s one of the few slits that we’re in the KO2s

Oh yeah i ended up getting the 265/75/16’s noticed that they will rub if I’m going over a bump when i have my wheel cranked all the way. I was parking this morning and it rubbed going over a speed bump next to my parking spot but other then that no rubbing and the truck looks good with the 75’s on it:). Also didn’t have to take off the mud flaps.

They look great bro, you're better off removing those front mud flaps.

Yeah I’m going to take the little ones off but the front and rear big flaps i keep on because it keeps the truck cleaner. And i usually don’t do any really hard wheeling to where i would Rip them off that’s why i keep The flaps on. But those little front flaps are coming off later today.

I went with a set of R/Ts in 265/75/18 on my 17 OR in early October. I'm on fully stock suspension. So far, no rub at lock on or off road. That said, my wheeling is limited to ranch roads in West Texas right now, and isn't overly demanding. These tires are WAY better in the mud and slick stuff than the stock Goodyears, but that is to be expected. It is the reason that I made the switch.

I did lose some fuel economy, but it is difficult to make a real comparison due to seasonal factors such as wind and fuel. There is more road noise with these than the stocks, but it isn't much. The ride is slightly stiffer. Overall, I am happy with the switch.

So far, they are great! I'm just turning over 4,000 miles on them. They ride great on road and handle the ranch roads as well as I had hoped for. I hope to get them back up into snow territory before Winter ends to see how they handle that mess.

If you're on stock suspension, you'll maybe rub once you get new wheels.

Still on stock suspension. Until this thing is paid in full, I'm not going to do much modification unless it also covers some necessary maintenance.
