Like previously mentioned, Benicia is not affordable. They are also having a lot of problems. I know a lot of cops there one of my former coworkers is now a BPD Officer, she told me that it was a shit hole. Being so close to Vallejo doesn’t help.

 

If you take the skids off, measure the height before and after. Also keep in mind the manufacturer expects that we load the bed with, what, 1000#, without disrupting alignment greatly.

To be clear I'm not advocating to not get an alignment, I definitely think any suspension work warrants it.

Or...find a willing shop that will align with and without the plates and mark the adjusters accordingly.

 

Woah! Our crime rate is the lowest per capita in the county(or it was the last time I checked). Maybe it’s a shithole working conditions wise? I’m interested to hear more.

As for affordability, it may be the most expensive in the county, but Solano county is the cheapest in the Bay Area, so it’s all relative I guess.
