I’ve driven my truck for 17k miles now and whenever I come to a stop, the truck starts screeching. I’m aware that it could be a brake pad issue but isn’t it too soon? I’ve read people having this problem at around 35k+. I don’t off road a lot , most of the driving is on the road.

Take it to the dealer. Screeching is not a normal thing. Could be something small.

You have a squirrel in your engine bay. It isn't fond of your driving habits.

My rear brakes squeal when coming to a slow stop or letting off the brake and slowly creeping forward

Was unaware there's an old Rock lobster . I hope he wasn't a total bastard. Been lurking on and off for a year or so. I got bored recently and make an account.

Oh, and to stay on topic, I agree with the first fella. It's under warranty, take it in to have the brakes checked.
