Buy a Pro or Trd off road and upgrade along the way?

It will be okay on my off road adventures. Another reason I didn't want a Pro.

I wonder how many people are still going to like that DAI after the first heavy snowfall and they try scraping ice off their windshield or clearing snow off the hood around that thing.

I wonder how easy it might be to break the top off in sub zero temps?

If you have the money, go for a pro.

 

It’s simple: This is exactly why we have options when we purchase. At the end of the day it is your money and you can choose to spend it however. I must say though, spending money on an OR and then spending all that money to make it look like a PRO, still makes it an OR. If you like the PRO just buy it. End thread.

 

Possibly unrelated questions since we're comparing OR to PRO. Someone on here mentioned ones that the OR has a bigger diff? True?

How about get a TRD off road and enjoy it and keep it stock with nice all terrain tires because that makes sense and you'll have a nice little badass truck

Or you can try to impress the guys on Tacomaworld and believe that they really care about your decision

 

So go somewhere they are not charging a dealer mark up and enjoy the road trip home.

If you're on tacomaworld already, you'll mod it.....it's just what happens.....trust me. Therefore .Off-road FTW!

If you really aren't going to mod it, sure, good purchase .Then on the other hand, if you love it as is, it's you're money. You'll get 200,000 plus miles so make sure to enjoy it every mile which should mean buy what you WANT!

 

I bought an SR. I don't need all the extras when I will just modify everything anyway. It's your money bro.

I will agree with the others that the OR is a nice option if you're only choosing from the two.

This is true. The Pro has a smaller diff for weight reduction.

 

So what's the diff?
