    Lol

I used to drive traffic with an unsprung 6 or 3 puck cermaic clutch (have had both) & dual diaphragm pressure plate. Thing chattered like crazy & was really hard to drive if not familiar with a setup like that.

I asked my lil brother to move my car once. Could hear the exhaust from inside the house. He stalled like 6-7 times. Finally when he came in the house, he told me he will never drive my car again. Lol

I have 3 toyota trucks available to me, all are manuals, and all 3 have very different clutches. The 92 feels like theres nothing there, the 08 is super heavy and a small engagement window, my 04 is in between the two. Not too light, not too heavy. Driving any of the 2 in the same day can really screw with my muscle memory. Many stalls abound.

I'm not an unsprung fan unless it's for drag racing. Hard on the trans and the crank for daily stuff. But I know that chatter feeling with ceramic clutches, weird at first and most folks think something is wrong.

I slip it sometimes on the hill. Really depends on if Im wearing my boots or running shoes. Different shoes throw me off more than anything.

Took me a while with boots, trying to fit a size 13 hiking boot in a Tacoma peddle box is tough. I almost push the brake and gas at the same time. But these last couple of wheeling trips I've had to wear them so I'm pretty used to it now. Still not comfortable feeling though all day like that

My boots get caught on the stupid floormat sometimes. Kinda freaky, I really need floormats without ridges in them.

You were into racing and Hondas? Talk about mutually exclusive hobbies haha. I kid, I know they can be crazy fast. Launching a FWD is an art form and building the tiny Honda equipment so it can take it is a challenge too.

dude, same problem, I can't wear my hunting boots while I drive because of the gas/brake issue or punching the brake when I hit the clutch. I drive in sneakers and put on my boots when necessary

Yeah. Got my license in 94. Hondas were getting popular at that time. My buddy opened a performace shop out of his dad's mechanic shop & eventually I started working there doing installs. Then started do engine swaps & builds for Hondas.

Started getting into too much trouble so I sold everything & wanted to buy a vehicle that I couldn't spend any money on & keep me out of trouble. That was the Tacoma. Well the not spending money part didn't work but at least it has kept me out of trouble.

Hondas were fun & I miss it sometimes but I'll never own one again.

Yeah next time that's the route I'm going to go. Hoping I still have a couple more years on the stock one though given what it cost me last time. But between the wheeling and the supercharger I dunno if that might be asking too much, we'll see.

Even with wheeling you can still squeak out over 100k on the stocker. Unless you somehow make enough power to slip the clutch in gear. I couldnt even kill the baby 4cyl clutch wheeling hard. I just replaced it because it felt like trash.
