Getting it to work without breaking it is always the challenge hopefully this will work. Cut off a plastic bottle painters tape it to cardboard use it as a stand gently lower it down and pray

Unrelated question for you but when you drained out your power steering fluid, did you turn the wheel side to side to mix it and then re-drain and refill or did you just drain and fill once with the intention to drive for a week and redo the process?

Also, the wind knocked over our 30' extension ladder onto my Tacoma last night, knocked the rearview mirror clean off and sent it between the driver's seat and rear of the driver's side door

Really sorry to hear about the pup, hardest part of being a pet owner is seeing them go. After we lost ours last thanksgiving I suggested getting a tortoise or something else that will outlive us, but fetch just isn’t the same.
Just remember, belly rubs and ear scratches make them just as happy as treats.

Can anybody tell me if access cab door speakers are easy to replace? I got one that appears to have crapped out on me.

    Everything's easy with a sawzall....

In reality if it's like my FJ suicide doors it should just be a few clips and it comes right off. The only difficult part would be if a weird size speaker was used and you have to Fab up a speaker mount. Check crutchfield.com, they have brackets for just about everything.
