If your CAL ID matches it's supported.... do not worry about your truck year.

I just purchased, with the kit on its way. Is there anyway else to get my CAL ID to Mat before he goes on vacation or do I need to wait for the kit? Thanks.

Read the instructions in the first post. You should be able to do everything up to the point where you connect the tractrix cable to the truck.

Confused over here. So does this mean we can get the files now if we are supported, or is that not happening yet?

New people!!! READ PAGE ONE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU ASK QUESTIONS. I made the mistake of not doing that..You’ll get barbecued and skewered if you don’t..Whenever a new tune comes out Mat also sends a stock file with it.So if you need major work flash that file before you go to dealer. When your truck is finished just flash 1.05 again and you’re set. If you lose the tsb when you flash to stock it’s ok because it is included in 1.05.

I remember reading that the handhelds were out of stock a while back..but now I don't see them on his site anymore. Will those be back up eventually?
I'd like to not buy a windows laptop for this, if possible.

I believe the handhelds are supposed to return, they were removed because people kept trying to order and starting tickets just to ask about availability which created unnecessary work.

Yup, did that. Was simply asking if I can "Identify the ECU" without the kit from Mat. Thanks for the obvious answer.

If the answer is obvious why are you asking? How are you going to "Identify the ECU" if you don't have a cable? Have you sent OVTune your system ID and have you received the registry file from OVTune?
