Hm... well always upgrade instead of replace!
Time to tube it and roll frame it.

Can't be that tough if you're just replacing with a similar speaker. I upgraded from 6.5 to 6x9 and real tweeters in my single cab. Mr Marv had the adapters I needed, or Crutchfield. Replacing them if you have those and the speaker wire adapters is simple.

I figured as much it’s the rear door on the access cab
I will just grab a matching pair and put them on both doors

You can do everything! I should get some suspension going at the same time and just give you my truck for a week or two:anonymous:
I won't be doing anything before the new year on this, but wanted to have someone to go to when I am ready. I will reach out then, and see what we can figure out. Thanks!
Liked the post, but in support, not because I think mother nature did a solid and ruined your taco

I've been working on and modding vehicles for years, started with helping my dad and his Jeep and then his 1st gen Tacoma. He was a Toyota Tech for 8 years.

The windshield maybe, since it is an extension ladder, but the rest of it no, no it would not have

That's simple, just buy the adapters for the door and the wiring. Then it's just remove and replace.

Not worth the increased amount. I'll paint it myself and call it good enough. Getting new glass though

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
He was the best, I’ll never forget the time I put him in the camaro, and went to the pride gas station. I told him to stay in the car (windows down, t tops off) while I went inside. Wouldn’t you know it the dog jumped out of my car, and sat next to the front door waiting for me to come out of the store

It is hard to tell from the pic, but did the metal mount break off the windshield? On my last windshield, it broke off, taking glass with it, but my windshield guy was able to move a new mount over and just glue it into place.
Granted, if the rest of the windshield is pitted/cracked, might as well replace it.

No freeby before rates go up?
U may want to switch...I usually swich every 2 years and I drill the hell out of them.
House on the other hand always sucks unless you go private, but I don't know if I can trust them if the house burns down.
    Hope that doesn't happen!

Also good trick is to keep your driving record clean and only use insurance claim every 5 years. To get the freeby
