I am simply sharing my firsthand experience with this TSB. I hope you guys have better luck than I did.

I had this TSB done on my truck when it had about 6300 miles on it. I must admit I was ecstatic when I got it back. it felt completely like a new truck with no issues. the trans didn't search for gears and it was just plain better. after about 5000 miles it was still the same, didn't hesitate and didn't search for gears. so I figured my problem was fixed for good. well, after 1300 more miles my truck is right back to where it was the night I took delivery. I am sad to report this to you guys and I hope yours will remain good to go. but mine didn't. I do a lot of driving in higher elevations too, which really sucks now that my truck seems to search for the right gear just to get up a mountain. and the truck just doesn't accelerate like it did after the TSB.

I plan to address it again with the service dept. when I take my truck in again. maybe they will reflash it again, who knows.

Disconnect your battery for a bit and see if it is better. Also check one of the other threads on this topic for some more info and help.

Same thing happened to me but disconnecting the batterybdid reset it to "default"

Afterwards I drove the vehicle a bit hard and it became a lot better and hasn't degraded after like 5K miles

It'll probably be nice while it's still under warranty. Personally, I'm not trusting any Chrysler product once that warranty period ends.

Sorry to hear that, I did my first T-SB ( 0077-16) at 15K miles, then at 41K miles I did the 0062-18.
Now at 46K, truck never went back to the "old behavior". Both T-SB made truck perform much better

It seems that the overall feedback of this TSB is good but you're not the only one mentioning that regression.

Perhaps resetting the battery as others stated and driving it a little more aggressive than usual (ECU learning) could help it revert back to your liking.

They just don't make quality lasting vehicles imo. They'll have a higher cost to own over a similarly priced competitor. I've owned a few Jeep's and the ones made in the past decade have dropped in quality pretty steeply. Cheap interior and frequent repairs were the norm. This is from 2016 but may be of some help to you.

Reset the battery, I did it. I too felt the truck going to it’s Pre-TSB ways but now it drives way better after doing that.

Same things here. However, I did have the battery disconnected for about 20 minutes last weekend while installing ditch lights and have noticed that it seems a lot better this week than it has been for a while.

I had mine done yesterday, I didn't really notice much of a difference in drivability. Just waiting for OVtune 1.05 with handheld option.

Did your dealer charge you $127 for the programming? A little over a month ago I drove across the country from NJ to WA towing a uhaul trailer. During the sections in elevation, I experienced the described issue. Today I had my truck in for service and I asked to have the TSB update done. I thought it was a kind of routine update...I'm a web developer so I'm familiar with computers. I received a call that the update would cost $127 to perform. Now, I don't live at elevation so I probably won't experience the issue until I happen to drive to elevation, so I'm going to pass on having it done. Is this common to be charged for a software update?
