Era3 cases seem to be gaining some traction if you want to fully ball out and :censored: up some commas on a case. All of them are gonna mount the same way, so you could use anything between a cardboard box and a metal stinger case depending on what you wanted.

So for a single row light bar like my 40" S8, I found I could mount it straight off the front cargo bar and it would clear the non-cutout deflector just fine.

I placed the brackets on the rack, positioned the lightbar w towels to get the right angle. Marked and drilled out two new mounting holes.

Anybody ordered from CBI lately know what kind of lead time these have? Never ordered from them. Just curious what timing I can expect.

Their website says 1 week or less for Prinsu, other items have longer lead times, up to 12 weeks.

Does anyone know if it's possible to custom order one to fit a 52" light bar? I know it was done in the past before Prinsu changed hands to CBI, but how about now?

I think the rack itself is much narrower than that.

It definitely is much smaller than that, though there have been a few people here that had custom bent ones to fit the 52" bars.

Here are the mounts I used. You can order it from either CBi or Prinsu.

Rack is 47.5 inches wide, so you're gonna have to custom make the extender brackets. I think Zack might have made a few when it was a one man band, but I don't think CBI is gonna play ball.

Edit: Do you already have a 52"? My BD S8 is 40 inches and is MILES ahead of my friends 50" in terms of brightness and lux, despite the 50"er claiming more lumens. That's the downside with china light bars. There's no accountability to the brightness levels they claim.

Did you have to cut the diffuser any? I know he only offered 30in and 40in

Not at all. You'll have room with a 42in.

Usually a 41 or 43 inch light bar has a lens that is 40 inches wide, but they measure outside to outside at the bezel or the mounting threads. a 40" S8 is actually 43" at the threads I think?

The gap width for the 40" bar deflector is 43" btw. @geekhouse23 measured it for me the other day.
