No car IMO is worth the markup, especially a mass produced vehicle like the Tacoma (Pro or Not). With that said, buy what you want.

My number 1 rule for car buying...

NEVER, I mean 100% NEVER pay over MSRP for ANY CAR.

MSRP is already an inflated number. The way the system works even if you pay INVOICE price, the dealer is STILL making 2-3% on Hold back. So even if you pay what they paid, they will still make a profit.

Tons of Pro hate here because some users relate their own financial situation to others.

I bought a pro and I love it. That said, if I had more time and technical abilities, I'd be more inclined to get the OR and build it out. My brother has an OR and did wheels and tires, RTT and racks- it looks sweet.

    Good luck and enjoy.

    No sir you are incorrect

I could pay cash for a pro today, right now, if I wanted to do so. But that’s not what owning a real Toyota is about imo; economical, reliable, capable.

First vehicle was a ‘96 land cruiser front and rear lockers shipped straight from japan. Made it to 420k+ before I sold it. This vehicle is 8x more capable than your pro ever will be and it’s over 20 years old and a fraction of the cost :p so no, I don’t hate the Pro due to my financial situation, I just know there are better options to piss money away on

Anyone who pays mark-up is a straight sucker and where are these Pro's that they're over 49-50k??? All the ones around me are 45-47

Um....."Better options to piss money away on" is relating your financial situation to others. Not about you being able to pay cash for a Pro......

Easy guys. I think we all are taking part in taking this thread way off road. There was really no financial aspect to the original post, aside from the fox shocks being worth it.

No buying fox 2.5 IFP will provide a similar ride with the ability to adjust the ride height.
