I got caught up in that shit show. Unfortunately all other alternate routes were also clogged...took me about 2 hours total, normally a 40-50 min. commute.

He is better off either paying it down because he wont get more than 25k or taking your deal for 25k and chalk it up as life lesson.

Coverkings/clazzios are half the price and not as padded plus i think they breathe a little better. You might get swamp ass in neoprene seats in summer if your arent used to it. I havent switched my fronts out because of this. I just use the nylon cordura like the TAC vests they make. It has been very durable and you can get it in multiple colors and patterns if you like camo. The stupid velcro on my uniforms always shredded my original seat material when i get in and out. Same goes for a lot of dudes with work pants, jeans etc. My fronts were some of the first mods i did to the truck back in 2014 and seats are still good and barely sign of wear.

So you use the Ballistic type material they describe? Not really into having camo seat covers don't need to be all tacticool or redneck.

Just got rear ended and now my airbag light is on (did not deployed) where should I take this, since the airbag light is on is there a Toyota collision center somewhere close? Is that needed or can any body shops handle it? Since the bumper is toast I guess it's time to upgrade that- what's the process for having insurance cover that instead?

Here is what I see so far.

    • Air bag light.
    • Hitch is bent.
    • Bumper is toast as well as the plate lights.
    • Tail gate is dented and sticks when it's opened.

I’ve never done this personally, but I believe you can get a check cut for the amount quoted to fix it. Then you just get fixed what you want, and use the remainder to get a new bumper. Though the frame mounts and shit may be bent so be aware of that.

I replaced the stock air intake with the TRD "performance" intake.

Would there be any interest in the OEM intake? Or should I toss it? The TRD intake uses the OEM lower air box, clips and MAF sensor so it wouldn't be a complete OEM intake.

If the hitch is bent are you sure the frame aint bent either? How did the bed look when compared to the cab? Did it look off too?

Bed looked right but I'm not sure since the tail gate was sticking a little. We were stopped at a red light and he didn't see us at all, he was in a f150 and had tow hooks on the front and they basically went right in to the hitch/bumper.
