Stihl has been an awesome dog.... We are not in a position to get him a buddy currently... I was hoping he would be more of an outdoor dog but I cant take him shooting because he gets really scared of the loud noise... has done great up in snow and camping though so that’s a plus... will try taking him fishing this year (only had him for a year. He’s a rescue) and hopefully that works out.

I’m sorry for your lost. Although he can never be replaced, It’s the season for gifts and maybe a new pup is in order. I have no idea where his snout is from??

 

Sydney is a rescue I've had for about 7 months now. I got very lucky with her, she doesn't mind loud noises, listens well, took her to Moab, she'll hang around me UNLESS there's a squirrel or rabbit which shows her plot hound side ha. She's probably close to 3 years old. It does take her a little to warm up to other pups. These 2 took about 2 and half days to get comfortable with each other and about a day with my brothers bull dog.

 

Stihl is about three also... Humane society said he was not good around other dogs or anything like that and he has been nothing but GREAT with other dogs and kids!! big butt wager and loves to be pet. It really bothers me when people wont even come near us either walking in the park or at stores that we take him to just cause hes a pit.

Looks alot like our boy we just picked up a few months ago. he's 5 months old and 50+ lbs. Going to be a big boy.

 

Ours is roughly 3 years old and only feeding him 2 cups a day and hes 70ish lbs...

 

Overwatch. Mans best friend doing what he does best. Looking out for his family. You my boy Huck! He is 1.25 yrs old, and has found his place with us.

 

Ours was a rescue as a pup. He was 12 weeks when we got him and is growing like crazy. Our boxer next to him is 2 years old and about 70 lbs. So far he's been a phenomenal dog. Very intelligent pup.

You guys and gals have been great posting all your pictures of your beautiful dogs. Helps me cope from not seeing mine every day for the last 3 weeks. Job assignment took me out of CONUS...cant wait to get back to my wife, dog and truck (and in that order if anyone asks!) this Saturday. Momma keeps sending me pics of my sweet little Mishka, who apparently makes herself sick because daddy is gone. She's worried sick about me!


And...I guess she got jealous because the dog loves me more than her. So, she got herself a puppy. She is calling her Wookie (Aussie mix with something)...not sure if I like the name, or the decision to get another dog. But I never claimed to be in charge. I just pay for stuff.
