It's in development. Big Mike of Marlin crawler has an ifs 3rd gen on 40s his truck is the template for the Marlin ifs rack. He's promised updates just before Christmas. He has a build thread in the 3rd gen section I would assume there will be an announcement.

Yes I know so the Marlin rack seems similar although with their touches and only requires reaming of the bolt holes other than that it's a bolt on part. To me thats worth 1500 since the first time I pushed my truck hard with 35s the steering rack broke. Not sure how much the Marlin rack will be but if it's in the neighborhood or there's an initial group buy I'm not even asking questions just take my money

I've had them on my truck for bout 30k miles & haven't regret it yet. Definitely a lil peppier too but idk how that'll be w/ your bigger tires & regear. Probably still noticable

I'm sure any extra low end will be beneficial even if it's with the butt dyno... I'll end up doing an exhaust as well at some point... Just waiting for the prices to come in on a few things

Took a peak in the box... This is a nice kit very well done, I should expect nothing less from Hurst I had one of their ratchet shifters in my S10 drag truck when I was 17

Yes, it's gonna fill the gap between the exhaust and the header I might have some fucking around to do cause the test pipe is for the 3rz and the magnaflow exhaust is technically for the 4.0 but it all mounts the same just might to mess around a bit

Nice, very interested to see how it goes without cats. I've heard the 2.7L needs a little backpressure or you start losing low end power. Could have been misinformation I read though..

No tooter is correct, but my cat is plugged with oil, and new ones are 500$+ soo I'm prepared to loose a slight amount of bottom end, I have the gears to make up for it so I'm not super worried

Worst comes to worst my brother just installed a magnaflow universal cat on his truck. The truck runs great and so far no codes. Even passed New Jersey (pronounced california jr) inspection. Only thing is no idea on how long it will last but it was only $75 so if it needs replacing next time he’s due for inspection it’s not the end of the world. Not sure how strict they are up north on emissions though. These motors sure bark without a cat though so hopefully you have a muffler suited for your long trips lol.

Side note he replaced his tube seals and pcv valve and his oil consumption seems to have stopped so hopefully his rings are in good shape still:fingerscrossed:

We don't have inspections or emissions testing here anymore. You can be issued a fix it ticket by the police but they would have to crawl under my truck to check it and they don't do that. The pipe is slightly resonated, the muffler is short its like 10" or something so it might be kinda loud. But we'll see. Unfortunately my PCV valve was new when I replaced the valve cover and I did a full gasket kit. My oil consumption actually increased. Lol so ya hopefully for him it's just leaks and not consumption

So as mentioned earlier, I picked up auto meter sport comp II water temp and oil pressure gauges. Also my arp wheel studs arrived today. This won't eliminate the 1/4" spacers but they're stronger and longer than OEM studs, so my lugs should have the correct amount of threads to grab even with the spacers

So I been noticing I don’t get back the amount of oil I put in!
Is this a sign my 2.7 is in the same boat?
I don’t notice or smell oil burning out the exhaust.
