I have already got the registry file back. Was simply wondering if anyone had identified the ECU calibration IDs with another tool (i.e. ScanTool, Phone App, etc...), rather than waiting until the kit shows up. If there is another option, I can hopefully get my tune file before Mat leaves on vacation. Otherwise, my kit shipping label has been created, but not shipped yet. Meaning I definitely won't be getting my tune file until he returns after the first of the year. That is why I was asking if there was another alternative.

You may be able to if you have one of those devices. I'm not sure if they will give you all the info you need to send to Mat though. I'm sure it will be device dependent on the output of the data. The instructions have a list of all the info mat needs. It wouldn't hurt to try if you have something laying around.

Thank you for clearing that up. I figured the PCM would misread it if I flashed it back

I serious would have liked to see what 1.05 could do for me now. Im driving from dallas to Phoenix with a heavy trailer. To keep it from constantly shifting this is what I have to do.

The manual states you should tow in S4. I've got a heavy trailer as well. I would not expect better gas mileage towing than what you are getting.

S4 or S5 per the manual. Usually my auto would never stay in 5th gear though so I was always in 4. Typically averaged about 10MPG. the MT is a few MPG better.

That's actually good to hear. Didn't make my truck any happier though lol.

You shouldn't have to wait as flash manager is how we'll all be getting access to the tune files once 1.05 is released last i knew.

Got a question about the 1.05 rollout. Does Mat send everyone of his customers an email with the updated files or does everyone have to put in a request through the support email with their specific info?

The answer is literally the last post before you posted this question....and there is a picture of Flash Manager in the first post of the thread to show you how it works...

My dongle has been waiting for more than 4 hours, maybe I should call a doctor?
