He’s too good to keep on the bench. But the only way this benefits him is if he thinks Fromm is gonna stay for his senior year. There’s no way they grant him a hardship waiver or anything like that to let him play next year, so he’d be sitting out anyway. If Fromm leaves after next year , he’d be starting in 2020 anyway.

From what I heard his family has already hired a lawyer to fight on their behalf. Depends on how low they want to go but they could use the baseball player that yelled at him to fuel a "racism" defense as hardship.

I kinda think that Fromm would be that type of player that would come back for his senior season to play.

 

I really hope race doesn’t come into play. I’ve already seen some people play that card in this ordeal and it’s sad. As far as that dumbass baseball player goes, he was dismissed from the team and I believe the university too. I don’t see how they would grant him a hardship. It’s not like he’s moving closer to home. Hell Eason moved back home to the west coast and had to sit out a year.
Fromm playing four years is beginning to be the popular speculation as of late.

 

I thought the same thing when I read that race may play into it. Of course that has yet to be confirmed and almost everything is speculative at this point.

It already has. Been reading comments all season about the QB controversy. I know race discussion are not allowed on here so that’s all I can really say but I am saddened by it and hope it doesn’t affect the team. Also for anyone that thinks Kirby wouldn’t put the best guy out there to give us the best chance to win is crazy.

I do think Fields has the much better athleticism but Fromm knows how to read defenses and audible out of bad plays. I don’t think Fields is there yet is what is keeping him from playing. I also feel Kirby has felt pressured to play Fields when he really didn’t want to, just to keep him happy/on the team.

With that I’ve seen a whole new side of Fields and him seeming entitled, particularly after the USCe game.

 

I’ll say your Comparison on Fields and Fromm is spot on.

 

I'm not sold on Jake being a 4 year guy... he is one competitive dude. I could see him leaving if his draft score is a high first round and especially if he brings a title to UGA.
