and I would not ask, because I clearly understand that is not where you are at.....I just stating that because there are people (i know this first hand) who Gross income is like 1200 to 1800 a month and they attempt to handle a 500 to 600 a month car payment plus rent plus utilities and the rest so at that point they are delaying payment till next month on something to get by. I seen this way too much because I am close friends with a Repo man because my side business I build custom computers and he has been a great customer for 7 years now.

 

And to be clear, there are those that make over 10 times that and have a Tacoma. What you described is a chain of stupidity starting with the salesperson that sold it in the first place.

 

I'm glad you didn't ask and I would not want a Repo man knocking at my Tacoma. I am a software engineer.

Plus, my 2017 ZL1 that I bought last year was way more than a Tacoma and it is paid off.

I do not put down the Or guys who purchased their truck for what ever reason they decided to go with and What I find to be totally fucking hilarious is the comment against the guy who decided that the Trd Pro Fit what they wanted better because it Does have options that the OR does not and does not require you go go out and spend $$ at some chop shop to install the Lift that has shit for warranty from Toyota and go hunt down a Trd Pro look alike front grill and a Trd Pro Hood and trd pro this and that for $$$$ more "oh I got it cheap and installed it myself" wonderful good for you I am all for doing my own work but my time is worth a lot more than that because I could be doing computer work at $160 an hour rather than installing a pro look alike grill for nothing an hour oh yeah I saved 30 bucks oh OK great. now for you guys who do this because it is what you want to do since you enjoy it that is good I do not knock you at all. but those who deride others decisions to buy the pro because it has what they want..... Really?

Yes and it happens all of the time much more than many realize salesperson or not involved many people want things and attempt to get things that are really out of their means

Yes to a point but I still make Payments but they are to myself into my bank account to build up funds to do it again with out interfering with my "other plans" or my side business of custom computer builds that I happen to be doing right now (waiting on software loads) for 2 machines that have to be done for Friday

Thats exactly how i was able to save up... rather that just buying one when I really wanted to... instead I "bought a future taco" and made payments into my savings until the day I could walk in there, slap down a cashiers check & say give me my truck bitches
