    Update for those interested, and for the sake of getting more data out there. Removed the FPR mod today and did a little testing on my way home from work.

    - Running the 2.6 on TRD tune now with the shorter 69.5" belt.
    - Methanol starts spraying at 5lbs with full spray at 7lbs (#5 nozzle)
    - 60*-65* ambient temps

    Did a few WOT pulls and AFRs were in the 10.5-11.2 range, and the Truck felt much quicker. After some reading today, i figured out the lowest my gauges show is a 10:1 AFR, so that tells me i've been running extremely rich and I just didn't know it.

    The idea with the TRD tune is to get it to start spraying whenever you would get near the upper end of the fuel injectors flow capacity. Seems like it would be safe to have it kick in a little later, but i was just starting off conservatively and figured i could dial it back from there. Tomorrow i will turn up the full spray to come on later around 8 or 9lbs so it doesn't kick in as often, or at all, and see what the AFRs look like. UCon will be here wednesday though! Pretty excited to get that back and see the difference it makes.

    Edit: did some testing last night at 45* ambient temps w/ the 2.6. Truck started running leaner around 12:1 during WOT pulls. This is safe according to Snow, but I am going back to the FPR mod right now and going to just have the methanol start spraying in full-boost-only situations.

    That's awesome man! At this rate unless you drive like an animal your meth use will be quite minimal. Glad to here the #5 jet isnt too much. I'm going to change mine. On the fence if it's a 4 or 5.

    Its not too bad if i you drive it hard like you said. If i am constantly in boost though, it does use quite a bit.. i honestly would go with the 5 and just dial things back quite a bit. if you do that you'll have a little head room if you change pulleys or and add some more.

    Then maybe a 4 would be fine. Smaller pulley? I'm currently running a 2.5. I wouldn't go smaller unless I get ucon. Then the auto adjust for methanol and the guardian feature might tempt me to get a 1.9 pulley:)

    Remember the smaller the pulley the more stress on the supercharger.
    The supercharger is rated at a specific RPM, the higher you go past the stock pulley the more
    stress on the supercharger bearings in particular you put and rebuilt times will be much sooner.

    Makes me think about some very high quality bearings that were discussed in the s/c thread. Maybe @Athlaos remembers or knows of a potential bearing upgrade for our s/c. Being the king of blower rpm currently:bowdown:

    I believe it can if it's pulling from OBDII.
    I've been using the Torque app with a $10 Amazon OBDII Bluetooth reader and also the OVTUNE handheld. Just curious if you guys can read over 322

    I'll make an attempt tmrw night. My truck hiccups more in the morning. Lots of rain here isnt helping. Even with new tires traction is minimal.

    Dyno Done today, Supercharger belt was slipping again, time for a new pulley again.
    So will keep an eye on the boost and timing numbers going up and get a new pulley.

    The porting of the supercharger has given the truck a nice extra kick. 18 more horses or so

    Boost is about the same at 10 pounds maybe a bit lower showing that more air is going through with
    the added power.

    Horse power and torque numbers are both up by 18 or so.

    Horse power and Torque numbers starts off at 10LB-FT higher than before porting at 2500 rpms.

    Horse power was pretty much at a straight line 45 degrees up the graph before porting.

    Now there is an extra power jump at 4000rpm on up on top of the added 10 horses from the start.

    So it is worth it? Absolutely but probably not unless your doing a rebuild on your supercharger.

    Wade the owner, the priceat thehighspeedlab.com is 295.00 for the inlet and outlet porting.

    Advantages are
    lower heat build up
    More air flow
    More advanced timing
    All adding to more power and should help in the summer heat too.

    I had to get it retuned because of the added airflow with the methonal and
    moved up to the number 3 nozzle from the number 2 nozzel for added fuel.

    Those are awesome improvements! I want to start hunting for a stock manifold so I can go without my s/c. What was your turn around time with that work? Do you have anything resembling the belt tensioner mod like the 2nd gen crowd?

    There was an upgrade tensioner for the 1st gen supercharger which most people have.

    Turn around depends on how busy he is. Summer it’s more busy then winter. Turn around was 3 weeks
    with shipping both ways.

    3 weeks isnt bad. Probably 1/3 shipping time. Along with a tensioner a belt wrap pulley might help you. Do you have a rip mod on your pulley?

    I don’t think those are available for the 1st gen style.

    Now that it’s opened up for air flow I’m going to have a 1.8” steel pulley made for the supercharger.

    The dyno speed shop said because I’m at 6000 feet with thinner air a 1.8” pulley is very doable
    and should get 2 more pounds of boost.

    Cross my fingers and placed my order for the 1.8” pulley today

    It’s really so slick with the methonal because all you need to do is adjust for a larger nozzle, more spray

    True. This is with my 1st pulley. @Roostfactor made the bracket and idler pulley combo. It really is a wonderful mod. There has to be something similar that can be made for yours.20180511_152949.jpg
